Check the Strikethrough checkbox in the Effects section.In the “ Format values where this formula is true:” field, type =B2=“Y”.Under Select a Rule Type, choose Use a formula to determine which cells to format.Click the conditional formatting dropdown from the Home tab and select New Rule.Select the cell or range of cells to which you want the conditional formatting applied.The condition would likely be based on a value entered in another cell, for example, “Y” in the cell adjacent to the task.
